Santa Stealing to Pay Elves

Submitted by Joshua Auriemma on Wednesday, 23 December 2009No Comment

santa-pay-elvesYesterday (12/22/2009) a man dressed as Santa Claus entered Sun Trust bank in Nashville and demanded money at gunpoint.

While he kept the punchline under wraps until his exit, on his way out, he exclaimed “I needed it to pay the elves!”

This begs the question: if Grandma got run over by a reindeer while Santa was fleeing from this robbery, was it felony murder?
