“You Cannot Pass”

Submitted by Joshua Auriemma on Saturday, 14 March 20092 Comments

gandalf-signMake that “you shall not pass” if you’re a Peter Jackson fan.

According to the Associated Press, a Bellvue, Washington man was pulled over in the HOV lane (the “express lane” for my fellow Bostonians) recently because his passenger had failed to buckle up.

Amusingly, the passanger was not a passenger at all, but rather, a dummy.  Given that we’re talking about Bellevue here, you might suspect that it was no ordinary dummy.  No, this dummy sported a rain jacket draped over a plastic frame, with a “head” comprised of a Gandalf mask, a beard, and a baseball cap.

I have two questions:

1.  What is Gandalf’s favorite baseball team?
2.  Is there any doubt that this was a Microsoft employee?

[edit: sorry digg, I never claimed that I could spell]
