If you can’t, go to whichever tier 2 school gives you the most money. And don’t be fooled by misleading statements about how they’ll consider increasing your scholarships next year. They won’t.

Harvard, hands down. I couldn’t reject them fast enough.

First, let me say how amused I am that you treat Google like a functional Ask Jeeves. Anyway, I suppose the answer to your question depends on a lot on what you’ve been doing with yourself for three years. For instance, if you have some acceptable excuse for not practicing, I can’t imagine that it would be a huge problem. If you’ve been serving 3 to 5 for assault, my answer may change.
