If you don’t (or can’t bring yourself to) read ATL, allow me to bring to your attention the first post in a currently seven-part series on why you should accept your outstanding offers as soon as possible.
Apparently right now in BIGLAW, there is a mixture of (1) violating the NALP guidelines by rescinding offers before the deadline; and (2) calling students with outstanding offers and telling them that they would probably be better off taking another offer. I suspect the implication of the later being that those people risk almost certain no-offers if they decide to accept firm X’s internship.
Either way, scary business in BIGLAW world.
